On behalf of everyone at Kinson Academy, I would like to welcome you to our school. 

It is a pleasure to be the Principal of a strong, thriving learning community. In our Academy we set high expectations of learning and personal development. In our school community we aim to; 

‘empower and enable every child’ 

We know that at the heart of this is supporting children to develop as confident, resilient and happy young people. We are focused on all aspects of children’s development. We offer a safe, nurturing, respectful environment where children can build good working relationships with staff and other pupils.  

We treat every child as an individual and provide them with a range of opportunities to develop their potential, regardless of ability, within a happy and stimulating environment.  We have a committed and enthusiastic team of staff who work in partnership with parents to put the best interests of our children first.  

We recognise and value each child's individual personality and work to celebrate individual achievement and success to encourage self-belief, increase confidence and raise self-esteem.   

Our Core Values of Respect, Teamwork, Resilience, Self-Regulation, Confidence and Tolerance are interwoven throughout.  Whatever a child's background or starting point; staff at Kinson Academy are ambitious for all pupils and aim to ensure they finish Year 6 with the academic skills, social skills and knowledge in order to thrive.
